Where journalists have been killed in Syria

Where journalists have been killed in Syria

Since 2011, 95 journalists have been killed in Syria, all with complete impunity. The Committee to Protect Journalists has confirmed that 85 of them were killed in direct reprisal for their work.

[Note: the names of three foreign journalists have not been mapped. James Foley, Steven Sotloff and Kenji Goto were murdered by ISIL at undisclosed locations in 2014 and 2015.]
